On behalf of the European Union and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, within the framework of Arevadzor project, Ameria CJSC jointly with the PIN S.c.r.l. Education and scientific services for the University of Florence is conducting free training series on ecotourism development and energy efficiency in Vayots Dzor.
This training series on ecotourism development and energy efficiency in Vayots Dzor will provide local community with opportunities for business development and job creation in tourism.
Training will enhance business management skills and introduce the basics of ecotourism development to local businesses and overall community through following courses:
Eco-tourism business set-up training for potential entrepreneurs covering topics on business registration, taxation, accounting, promotion, credit access and financial support.
Basics of work in eco-tourism activities for potential employees introducing good practices of service and guests’ hospitality, hygiene and safety, HACCP certification, waste management and ecological approaches.
Eco-tourism management and practices of attracting eco-tourists for existing and new entrepreneurs introducing standards of accommodation services, ecological approaches, on ecotourism services, and promotion.
Energy efficient practices for businesses for existing and new entrepreneurs introduces energy saving techniques, incentive schemes for SMEs’ energy efficiency, technical solutions for energy efficient buildings.
Participants will also be trained in basic English vocabulary for tourism.
Training is open for local community in Vayots Dzor region engaged in tourism industry or interested in implementation of their business ideas, particularly:
- SMEs participating in ecotourism sector
- potential entrepreneurs, interested in in ecotourism
- job seekers
Participation in the training is free.
Training will take place in June-August 2019. Transportation to/from Yeghegnadzor to their home town will be provided to selected participants, as well as coffee breaks and lunch.
